Few directors utilize color in the same way as Wes Anderson. His use of color palettes give identities to the films he makes and evoke different emotions. Tempestuousness in The Royal Tenenbaums, sophomoric pretentiousness in Rushmore, and child-like romance in Moonrise Kingdom. It’s no surprise that during the recent Academy Awards, Anderson left with several awards for the incredible art direction in his movie, The Grand Budapest Hotel.
